Position Summary:

The Field Technician will support the Cleanroom Services team. Duties include viable and non-viable particulate air testing, collect purified water and surface samples, compressed air/gas sampling, and pressure differential monitoring. Additionally, this role will be responsible performing work at the facility site and client sites as needed while satisfying internal and client gowning procedures. Effective and professional client interaction is expected.


  • As a Cleanroom Services Technician you will be responsible for taking samples for environmental monitoring at client sites.
  • You will gain the necessary experience to support client’s contamination control programs.
  • Additionally, as a Cleanroom Services Technician you will perform assigned functions associated with basic cleanroom monitoring.
  • You will work to become familiar with the equipment, procedures, and policies necessary to support cleanroom monitoring within controlled environments.
  • You will work with team members and under the direction of Cleanroom Services management to improve performance and client satisfaction.
  • Perform pressure differential monitoring
  • Meets standards for basic aseptic techniques
  • Accurately perform laboratory writeups and data entry activities
  • Perform testing per written instruction on a variety of internal and client sample types
  • Properly document all activities and check all paperwork to ensure accuracy prior to submission for review.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance activities on equipment
  • Adheres to cGMP rules and regulations
  • You may spend up to 4 hours a day travelling to client sites.


  • High School Diploma required with relevant experience, Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license and has a good driving record.
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and follow standard operating procedures, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations to provide advantage to Cambrex opportunities.
  • Mathematical skills including the ability to analyze scientific and test data, and a basic understanding of statistical analysis.
  • CETA training or certification a plus.
  • NEBB training or certification a plus.
  • Must be able to work the necessary hours to meet objectives
