DUTIES:

  • As a Microbiology Analyst, you will perform a variety of microbiological testing as assigned (i.e. pour-plating, membrane filtration, dilutions, basic staining, growth promotion testing, plate enumeration, morphological assessment).
  • You should have a thorough understanding of aseptic techniques.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for adhering to cGMP rules and regulations.
  • Microbiology Analyst will be responsible for performing method validation and suitability studies.
  • You will also provide technical support for other Analysts.
  • Part of your duties as a Micro Analyst will be to communicate and interact appropriately and effectively with clients.
  • Also, you will perform testing per written instruction on a variety of internal and client sample types.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a life science or related field with 3+ years laboratory (industry) experience or equivalent.
  • Understanding of lab techniques.
  • Experience in GMP environment.
  • Excellent understanding of company SOPs and requirements.
  • Familiarity with USP sterility testing (USP or EP 2.6.1).
